    Approvals and Inspiration

Despite the fact that Apple’s submission process is more complicated than knitting a winter jumper whilst hanging upside-down from a tree, our first application has been submitted to the App Store and is currently waiting approval.

Remember how since the dawn of coding, the general rule has been that if someone has created the wheel and that wheel is rolling perfectly fine, try not to reinvent it, but build upon it? Well, recent events have been leaving me to believe that said practice might be one of the past. If you were to ask the majority of iOS device owners as to what ‘To-Do’ app they use, chances are that you’d get a reply stating ‘Things’. The app was amongst the first in the store that was aesthetically pleasing all-round.

If you were going to develop one after that, you’d generally follow the wireframe of ‘Things’ to remain safe. However, it’s thanks to companies like ‘realmac software’, ingenuity still lives on. Having single-handedly reinvented the core look of the ‘To-Do’ app suite, I feel their upcoming app will be a huge success. Promotional video, beneath.

    Hello, world

Hello, curious surfer of the interwebs. I guess I should explain what keeptapping.me is all about. A few weeks ago, in between a few projects, I started playing around with the iOS SDK and fast forward to today, I nearly have a fully functional gimmick app working and waiting to impress. With the help of a few friends, I’ve managed to get an aesthetically pleasing and charming little application called “Flatter Me!” built. With a few tweaks here and there, I know this app will be ready to submit to Apple. After that, a reddit client.
